Perfect for families Ashbourne Cottage sleeps up to 5.

Converted from the barn belonging to the original farmhouse, the
cottage is full of country character. The kitchen is equipped with
everything you’ll need to enjoy your holiday. The living room is oak
beamed and has a lovely, log effect fireplace giving a cosy spot to
relax after a day exploring the Peak District.
Upstairs you’ll find a double bedroom with additional single bed, a
bedroom with bunk beds (top bunk only suitable for a child) and a family
bathroom.
Outside is an enclosed area with a table, chairs and sun umbrella.
Ideal for walking and cycling with footpaths from the door and direct access to the Tissington Trail cycle route.
Dovedale Cottage is semi-detached with Ashbourne Cottage so larger groups can stay next door to each other.
Between May and the end of November you will have full use of the campsite facilities. We can provide a travel cot/highchair/stairgate free of charge if you need them.
All linen is provided but you would need to bring your own towels with you.

Surrounding Area
Ashbourne is just 20 minutes walk away where you'll find plenty of interesting independent shops, restaurants, cafes and a wide variety of pubs to while away an afternoon. If you'd prefer to get out into the countryside then there's lots of picturesque local walks straight from the door. Alternatively you can walk or cycle along the Tissington Trail with direct access from the site. Maps are available from reception.
Explore a little further and you'll discover Dovedale where you can follow the limestone valley through stunning scenery and cross the river over the famous stepping stones.
At nearby Carsington Reservoir you can get out on the water with a variety of watersports including paddle boarding and kayaking. There's also a Visitor's Centre and a great 8 mile circular walk/cycle route.
For the thrill seekers amongst you Ashbourne Cottage is just 20 minutes away from Alton Towers where you'll be able to ride the rollercoasters, visit CBeebies Land with your little ones or take a dip at the Waterpark.
