Electricity is billed retrospectively at cost price and there is no standing charge. Water is included but may be metered at sometime in the future. We don’t have a mains gas supply so Calor Gas bottles must be obtained from reception at recommended retail prices.
Owners of static caravans at Callow Top can use their caravans during 12 months of the year although we are not residential. Site facilities are open between Easter and the beginning of November and use of facilities is included.
Facilities close between November and Easter, but you can still spend time in your caravan throughout the Winter season relaxing, walking, fishing, cycling or popping into lovely town of Ashbourne which has a fabulous selection of cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. You can drive into Ashbourne in a couple of minutes or take a walk into town on the Tissington Trail walking and cycle path which takes about 20 mins.
Sub-letting is not allowed but your close friends and family are welcome to stay in your holiday home.
We don’t have a clause in your contract that requires you to buy a new caravan every so many years. As long as your caravan is kept in good condition it can stay on site as long as you wish.
